iPod, Meet Camera

Back when iPod Photo was announced, people were puzzled. What's so great about bringing your photo around? Now, with this new device you can connect your ipod with your digital camera, transfer the photos directly, free space and keep shooting. It just makes all kind of sense all of a sudden.

With this connector looking essentially like a convertor from Apple's propriety firewire port to female USB port, I wonder how well it would work. It (ipod photo) must have enough driver to support at least a majority of camera out there, including those not adhering to standards. This is going to be fun.

And of course, this suddenly made the Belkin iPod Media Reader bulky and ugly.

so, yes. iPod, meet camera. And don't forget to meet phone, wireless mic and others once apple gives you bluetooth.
