Backtrack, week of 25th April, Beijing Trip

After all the coding, compiling and testing, the developers went back to Beijing, and i tagged along.

It's a very interesting system in China. They have three days of official holidays between 1st and 3rd of May. Somewhere along the line, however, the whole country agreed to work work during the Sundays immediately before and after the holiday, shift the days around so that they have a 7 days vacation. They called it Golden week of May, during which you pretty much can't get anything business wise done.

The main goal for my trip is just to get to know the developers, and their managers. These developers are a bunch of college students who gets paid next to nothing. They work for the experience, and perhaps a good perspect in the job market.

I was there for two days and one night, after which I rushed back to Hong Kong for a safty course provided by MTRC.

I hate flying.
