Amazon Refund

I recently purchased the new Harry Potter for a friend. It was a pre-release purchase, and just a day or two after the official release, I received the following mail from Amazon:

I didn't know about the price reduction, and I'd totally understand if they didn't offer me the $1 refund. Business is business, and by the way this book is selling, $1 for everyone who pre-ordered translates to thousands of dollars (if not 10s of thousands) of lost profit.

Much appreciated, and that's the kind of things that keeps customers coming back to Amazon.

We all have a lot to learn from Amazon.
