Disney, the good old days

There was a rerun of Disney's Aladdin today (preparation for Hong Kong Disneyland openning).

It didn't have a lot of special effects, but the animation is amazing even by today's standard, voice acting is top-notch, and the story flow, the structure of the whole movie, everything is just timed perfectly.

Disney has not been making movies like this for a while now. The last one of Disney's original animated movies (and I'm not counting those by Pixer) was Lilo and Stitch. Before Lilo and Stitch there wasn't really been anything interesting for a long time.

Watching Aladdin really makes me miss the good old days.

Time to put this onto my wishlist.
