While waiting for subway today, I found that they have implemented the "Quiet Car" policy. It is essentially that for a few specific carts of the train, no PA announcement would be broadcast. Broadcast like "The next station is ..." and "This train is for ..., passangers can switch to ... line at the next station" can be pretty annoying at times. This is definitely a nice feature.
