Viral Marketing

So Thomas Hawk caught something that's a classic piece of fun Viral marketing [Wiki].

First some definition: Viral Marketing is a marketing techniques that seek to exploit pre-existing social networks to produce exponential increases in brand awareness.

You can visit the Thomas Hawk link to see what happened, but essentially he saw this dude with his cup of coffee on the top of his car, walked over to warn him, and he said "yes, I know, Marry Christmas from Star Bucks".

This is definitely interesting way to start people's conversation, and bring a good laugh out of people who approach him. I know I'd talk about it all week to everyone I know, because it's just so fun and creative an idea.
